LandSea is a non-profit empowering youth to stop overthinking and start filming—big ideas, short films, fearless fun

Empowering Through Film
At LandSea, our mission is to help youth overcome analysis paralysis by encouraging them to embrace their creative potential. We facilitate workshops and film festivals that not only nurture artistic expression but also foster a community of storytellers ready to inspire change through their work.

Lance Hendrix - Workshop Director
A graduate of University of California, Berkeley and the University of Oxford, Lance is an actor and creative storyteller who traveled to six continents by the time he was 20 years old. He brings real-world depth, emotional range, and lived experience to every thing he does.
He has appeared in commercial and film projects with teams at 5 Star Productions, Leaping Dog Films, Mad Possum Productions, and Dogfight Holdings. His training includes film coursework in Egypt, acting classes and on-set experience in Los Angeles, along with hands-on familiarity producing social media content for local businesses.
Lance’s creative life is shared closely with his family—his wife and three children are also involved in acting and performance—and much of his work is shaped by creating and learning together with them.
